After a lovely week in Portugal we arrived on the doorsteps of our wonderful friends, Will, Rachael, Charlie and Ella Marsh in Brent Knoll, near Bristol in the UK. I had a very important role to play - I had to renounce the devil as Ella's godmother. It was a really lovely day and Ella was the belle of the ball in her gorgeous dress.

We spent the week with the Marshes and Ella and Lily became good friends once the initial slapping and eye gouging stopped. At first Lily would cry everytime Ella would talk to her but then she got used to Ella's high pitched conversation. Charlie helped to entertain the girls and I still have in my head 'My name is sportacus' - thanks Charlie.

On the long weekend we went on a roadtrip to Woollacombe which is on the west coast, a couple of hours from Bristol. We stayed at the Woollacmobe Coast Holiday park courtesy of Lindzey. It was an experience to see how the 'other half' live. The beach was absolutely packed and the weather was so so...of course Murph went for a swim but Lily and I stayed on shore and enjoyed the sunshine before a big cloud of low lying mist moved in.

Vanessa, hi enjoyed reading this and looking at the pictures! Baden is away and I am doing this photo album for him on the computer www.momento.com.au and it is time consuming and at present I am looking for photos of the English Channel. Could you pls send me a couple of photos that you think would look good in the book. I have plenty of the 4 guys in the trackies etc. but might prefer a more action shot of water, boat, etc. whatever you can find.
We had a fabulous time in Bath - it was such a pretty place and would love to even go back again.
Have just been to Adelaide for the weekend as Baden had a reunion with 4 people he travelled around Europe with 30 years ago!
Bryce has just bought a 2 befdroom house at Cronulla - one min drive from us! Jason has had radiation injected into his right knee to heal up the infection so that the medication he is on can take affect. He had bath arthritis in that knee.
Baden has been sick for 10 days with temp for 5 days on and off and a cough but seems to be better now.
What date are you coming home and are you stopping off in Asia on the way home?
