Lily's first modelling job
and probably her last until her new teeth come down.
The photoshoot was done three days before she lost her teeth. She had an absolute ball and loved trying on the fabulous clothes and of course being the centre of attention. Lily is always asking to go back and wear all of the pretty clothes and 'do her poses'....how do you explain to a three year old that she was fired becuase she has no front teeth!

She's in good company - appearing on the newsletter with Elle and Heidi!

An early visit from the tooth fairy
Our little girl had an accident on Easter Monday and lost her two front teeth! We were at the cemetery and Lily was just being Lily dancing around and fell onto my dad's granite grave and chipped both her front teeth half off and knocked them so far back that they had to be removed.
She is still a cheeky monkey and has gotten used to not having her front teeth...the hardest thing for her is not being able to eat her favourite foods - corn on the cob, whole apples and chicken wings!
The tooth fairy left two lollipops (Lily's special request), a My Little Pony present and $20 (I know it's very generous but I took into account inflation and the fact that she lost her teeth about three years too early!).
Unfortunately it is going to be a long wait until her new teeth come down....four years or so!

She still has her effervescent smile but just with a few less teeth!
